A simple & natural Mineral Makeup routine

Sometimes we wake up and we just can’t be bothered to do a full face of glam makeup. Other times we sleep through our alarms and have 10 minutes to do your makeup! In today's blog I am going to be telling you how you can achieve a beautiful natural look that is quick and simple.

Step 1 is to, wash, moisturise and prime your face. As soon as you wake up in the morning it is extremely important for you to wash your face before you apply makeup. Washing your face will give you a clean fresh base for a smooth and easier application. After washing and drying your face apply a layer of moisturiser and let it absorb into your skin. This will hydrate your skin and stop your makeup drying throughout the day. The last step for this part is applying a layer of primer, this will make foundation application a lot easier and will keep your makeup in place all day.

Step 2 is foundation and concealer. When it comes to a natural look, it’s best to go for the sheer coverage option to keep your makeup light and natural. Tip a small amount of product into the lid of the jar and apply evenly all over your face. Use concealer to brighten up dark circles under your eyes. Apply a small amount and blend underneath the eye, out towards your hair line.

Step 3 is Blusher and Bronzer. These 2 products will add colour and frame your face, I recommend using the bronzer first then letting the blusher sit nicely on top of the Bronzer. Apply the Bronzer to the cheekbones and blend out towards the hairline to add a sunkissed glow to your face. To add a soft pink glow to the apple of your cheeks apply a small amount of Blusher, smile and then apply to the apples and blend out along the cheek bone on top of the bronzer.

Step 4 is the finishing touches! Apply a small layer of Finishing powder to keep all of your makeup in place throughout the day. A great tip is to carry around your Mineral Finishing powder if you notice any moisture on your face, the moisture can break up your makeup and make it look patchy. Carrying your Finishing powder will absorb the oil and fix your makeup!
